Being loved by God is the foundation of our identity and the starting point of everything we do. That is why this summer we are soaking, resting, playing, and even breathing in God’s incredible, personal love for us.

This week, our new friend, artist-theologian Julian Davis Reid, guided an extended time of contemplation. With music and thoughtful questions, we pondered the love of God demonstrated in our lives through Romans 8:31-39.

Kingdom Practices
Julian guided three movements in our time of contemplation: rivers, banks, and wellsprings. Chances are you found yourself caught up in one of these movements. Maybe you feel you needed more time to talk and listen to God, or maybe you sensed the Holy Spirit moving deeply in one of the movements. Whatever the case, would you spend more time this week pondering this movement? What is God inviting you into in this season?
