Give

Thank you for your interest in financially supporting The Practice Church. If you are connected from a distance or a part of our local community, we are so incredibly grateful for you and your support. We invite you to give below however you are being led (all giving is tax-deductible). You can even set up a recurring gift if you choose.

Whether you are giving as a tithe to The Practice Church or simply supporting the work God is doing through us, would you see your giving as a spiritual practice? Our giving is a tangible way we demonstrate that money does not have a hold of us. While we are tempted each day to make an idol of wealth, giving is a spiritual discipline in which we name the truth, even if it is aspirational, that we do not serve the idols of money and possessions.

A Practice of Surrender

I invite you to take a deep breath. Remember, you are in the presence of God. God is with you today. Take another deep breath. Before you give, would you offer this prayer to the One who is with you, who sustains you, and loves you more than you can possibly imagine?

Giver of all good gifts, You have taught us that godliness with contentment is great gain. We bring nothing into this world, and we take nothing out of it. May we, who call Jesus Lord, devote ourselves to resisting greed, which plunges the human heart into ruin and pierces it with many griefs. Give us the grace to practice generosity with free hearts, fixing our hope on You and not the uncertainty of wealth. May we be rich in good deeds and willing to share all that we have, laying up for ourselves treasure that will not decay but will shine in the age to come.  Amen.
