As we begin this year, we are walking through the values of The Practice Church. Who is God inviting us to be as a church? What does it mean to practice the way of Jesus?
This week, Nicole guided us as we considered the value of presence. What would it look like for us to live tethered to God in our everyday lives? We then practiced the disciple of Immanuel journaling as a way to deepen our relational connection to God and cultivate a life in God’s presence.
Kingdom Practice
Our practice for this week is to continue the practice of Immanuel journaling. Let’s make time each day to slow down, express our gratitude to God in writing, write God’s response to our gratitude, and read God’s response aloud. If it is helpful, you can use this guide.
