The Practice is an experimental gathering where we immerse ourselves in God’s dream for humanity, practice the historic disciplines that align us with His dream, and carry each other along the way. We are learning to live out Jesus’ teachings in the world.
Join us, Sundays at 6pm in Willow Creek Chapel.
Our Current Journey
Living the Liturgy
Join us this Spring as we explore our latest series, “Living the Liturgy.”
Every Sunday at The Practice, and in churches all around the world and across history, Christians have worshipped God through a series of sacred rituals more commonly referred to as a liturgy – an order of worship that includes key elements such as the communal reading of scripture, a confession and assurance, the passing of the peace, communion, and a benediction.
In this series we want to pull back the curtain and look at why practicing these sacred rituals on Sundays is so formative for our daily lives. You can check out our calendar for this series here.
In the meantime, please feel free to explore who we are and where we’ve been through the website, our blog, & the Practice Podcast. We hope you can join us on the journey.
We seek to be…
Kingdom-Minded
Through the scriptures, story, and worship, we want to join Jesus in healing and redeeming this world.
Practice-Based
More of a spiritual gymnasium than classroom. The focus is on the practices and disciplines that form us into Christlikeness.
Ecumenical
Our desire is to be relentlessly committed to humbly learning from other Christian traditions and practices.
Eucharistic
Every gathering will culminate with communion to weekly anchor us in Christ’s death, resurrection, and promise of return.
